The Career Planning Process is generally broken down into four (4) steps: 1. Gathering Information about yourself 2. Gathering Information about the world of work 3. Making an informed career decision by bringing the information gathered in steps 1 and 2 together in a personally meaningful way 4. Taking Action by following through on the decision that you have made (i.e. you might need more education or training or you might go directly to the workforce) From exploring occupational options and researching careers to developing résumés and implementing job search strategies, the Career Development Center can assist you "where you are" in the career planning process!
