Risk Management Objectives  

• Determine financial risks and needs for insurance protection; develop specifications/Request For Proposals (RFPs) for all lines of insurance and recommend most cost effective coverage.  
  
  

• Communicate and/or negotiate with internal clients and insurance carriers to ensure service.  
  
  

• Pursue recovery of losses, obtain supporting documentation and file recovery claims with appropriate carriers; coordinate in-depth investigation of liability claims with College Security and provide data to adjustors or attorneys.  
  
  

• Assist administrators and program heads in complying with the prerequisite insurance requirements of outside entities by negotiating as required and obtaining Certificates of Insurance.
